Thank you. Can I please you ask a question regarding the $3k cost?

Where do we get this $3k cost per question? Is it the below? How reliable the estimate is?

Pretty sure those numbers came from OpenAI so I would have no reason to assume they would over-estimate it but I guess it's possible.

Important thing seems to be it's a couple of order of magnitude more expensive, which means compute which means energy use!

Thanks. Yeah, I know. Each of us have incentives and biases. OpenAI as well. I'd be delighted to see some other numbers as well, over time or not. I'll do some research.

If yours or OpenAI's costs are correct, then you are right and this is a big deal. Not sure HOW volume (number of customers) will bring costs down, unless there are pairs of (question+answer) which will be cached and re-used. This is certainly super important. Physics is important :)
